CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. — Southeast Missouri faced a challenging outing on Sunday, falling 6-1 to Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) in a conference clash.
SIUE started strong by clinching the doubles point with wins on courts one and two. The No. 3 match was left unfinished, with

Kristina Kozakova leading 5-2 against Mya Bowe and Jessica Li.
In singles, SIUE extended their lead with victories at No. 1 in a close 6-4, 6-4 match along at Nos. 3, 4, 5 and 6. The Redhawks lone win came from
Juliette Demunck at No. 2 singles 6-2, 7-6.
