Coaches Thoughts
Match one - In singles, the opponents were very tough and ready to play. Ole Miss has a strong line up top to bottom, which makes them worthy of their national ranking in the top 40, and we showed that we can play with such teams.
Match two- Our first doubles lost, but the first five games were all deuce points. The team fought well in each position in singles and doubles. Zemtsova played against the No. 8 ranked singles player in the nation and played a hard match from start to finish. All other girls did their best to fight and we're very proud of them.
Next up, SEMO Women's Tennis will face Tennessee Southern on Thursday in Nashville, Tennessee.
