The Southeast Missouri tennis team heads to Nashville, Tennessee to battle with Tennessee Southern in a neutral site match, before competing against Belmont University. 
 
Series History
 
This will be the third matchup against Tennessee Southern, and the Redhawks are 2-0. The first match between the two schools came in 2023 where SEMO won 7-0. The Redhawks defeated the Firehawks last season as well winning 6-0. 
 
SEMO and Bemont have played 17 times in the past with the Bruins having the slight 9-8 edge over the Redhawks. The teams have played each year since 2021, and SEMO is 5-1 in the six matchups, including a 4-3 win in 2025. 
 
Last Time Out
 
SEMO dropped a pair of matches against #30 ranked Ole Miss. The first match ended up 0-4 and the second match was 1-4. Kristina Kozakova was the lone winner for SEMO in the second match with a 6-0, 6-2 win at No. 6 singles. In doubles the No. 1 pair of Maja Bajorek and Mia Mayerova battled in their set but lost five games on deuce point.

SEMO tennis will play two more matches in Tennessee, this time in Memphis, where they will face the University of Memphis and Harvard University Feburary 21-22.
