BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – The Southeast Missouri Tennis team has started its quest for a fourth consecutive OVC regular season championship and was picked third in the OVC Predicted Order of Finish, the league announced Friday morning. 

Bryant, who won the OVC tournament last season, was picked to win the league with 34 points. SIUE was second with 31 points and SEMO was in third with 25 points. Western Illinois trails SEMO by one point ahead of Lindenwood, Southern Indiana and Tennessee State to wrap up the prediction. 

Bryant will compete at the conference championships but will not play a conference schedule in 2026. 

The league also announced its tennis players to watch and included on the list for the Redhawks was Sofia Zemtsova. Zemtsova transferred in from Christian Brothers University and has started off well as a Redhawk. In the fall tournaments she accumulated a 9-1 record in singles matches including a five-game win streak to wrap up the fall season.
