The Southeast Missouri tennis team hosted three teams at the First Annual Redhawk Fall Invitational.

Western Illinois and Maryville University competed both days, Missouri St.-Louis competed n Saturday.

Day 1

The teams played two doubles matches and one singles match on Friday.

The Redhawks went 4-2 in doubles matches. 

The duo of Yontha Tadoum and Juliette Demunck went 2-0 with a 7-5 win over Mana Fawcett and Nour Gueblaoui from Western Illinois. They also notched 6-3-win over Chloe Routier and Maarja Leinstrep from Maryville.

Kristina Kozakova and Sofia Zemtsova went 1-1 on the day defeating Nazli Saka and Luana Luersen from Maryville 6-3. Maja Bajorek and Mia Mayerova also went 1-1 picking up a 6-1 win against Denver Johnson and Anna-Evelina Trush from Western Illinois. 

In the singles portion of the day SEMO went 5-1. 

Tadoum defeated Nazli from Maryville 7-5, 6-2. Kozakova took down Richardlyne Francois from WIU 6-3, 6-4. Zemtsova won her first singles match defeating Maarja Leinstrep from WIU 6-0, 7-5. Demunck beat Mira Vasileva from Maryville 6-3, 6-2 and Mia Mayerova took down Luana Luersen from Maryville 6-4, 6-2. 

Day 2

On the second day the teams each played one doubles match, and two singles matches. 

In the doubles match all of the Redhawk duos won their match. Bajorek and Mayerova defeated Saka and Alvarez 6-2. Kozakova and Zemtsova took their match a duo from Maryville, Luerson and Grace Brown 6-0. Demunck and Casas finished the match with a win at No. 3 doubles over WIU's Thrush and Johnson 6-3. 

Zemtsova defeated Francois 6-3, 6-3, Tadoum took down Johnson 6-4, 6-2 and Bajorek defeated Leinstrep 6-0, 6-1 at No. 4 singles. Kozakova defeated Routier 7-6, 6-3 and Mayerova won by walkover.

Zemtsova won at No. 1 6-2, 6-2 over Hannah Tse, Bajorek defeated Millie Wileman 6-3, 6-1 Demunck took down Aleksandra Lopez 6-4, 6-3. Wrapping up the wins for the Redhawks were Mayerova 6-4, 6-3 over Giuliana Cunza and Tadoum over Anna Favaron at No. 5 7-6, 6-2 and at No. 5. 
 
Looking ahead

The Redhawks will travel to Evansville Indiana to compete in the OVC Fall Tournament hosted by the University of Southern Indiana on September 26-28.
