Tennis Announces One Signee Wednesday

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. - Southeast Missouri women's tennis team has announced the signing of Mia Mayerová Wednesday afternoon. Mayerová will join Head Coach Mary Beth Gunn and the Redhawk tennis program in the fall of 2024.
Mia Mayerová is from Bratislava, Slovakia and the daughter of Emil Mayer and Milena Delincáková.
Mayerová is five feet and eight inches tall and once she gets to SEMO she intends to major in psychology.
Mayerová graduated from Spojená škola Ostredková 10 in 2023 and was coached by Michal Selecký.
"Mia is a solid tennis player and great student. She works hard on the court and in the classroom," said Head Coach Mary Beth Gunn. "She is a great addition to our program and we are so excited to have her join our Redhawk family!"
