CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. - Clara Billing broke her own SEMO pole vault record during the Billy Hayes Invite as SEMO enjoyed a successful meet.
Record Broken Again
Clara Billing vaulted over a height of 13' 9.25" (5th) to break the SEMO pole vault record again. The sophomore beat her own record of 13' 3.5", which she set last outdoor season.
Top Performances
Parker Feuerborn chalked up a distance of 233' 07" to take the trophy in the men's hammer throw.
Jaden Kight achieved a new personal best throw of 158' 02 in the javelin for the silver medal.
Justin Breault threw for a distance of 186' 07" for second in the men's javelin
Hannah Eastman crossed the line at 4:38.42 in the 1500m to take fifth in the race.
Tanner Koontz vaulted over a height of 16' 4.75" to take sixth in the men's pole vault.
Molly Grohmann jumped over a height of 5' 03' (12th) in the women's high jump.
Paden Lewis noticed a distance of 59' 6.25" in the shot put for fourth and a new personal best. Lewis also threw the discus a distance of 168' 11" for fourth.
Piper Klinger threw the discus for a mark of 150' 05" (6th) to claim a new personal best.
Looking Ahead
The Redhawks will compete in the 2024 Outdoor Ohio Valley Conference meet next weekend, May 9th through the 11th in Charleston, Ill.
