Series History
Southeast Missouri and Southern Indiana meet for the fifth time Saturday. SEMO holds a 3-1 record in the all-time series. The Redhawks started and will end their Ohio Valley Conference season against the Screaming Eagles. SEMO beat USI, 93-91, in overtime to begin the 18-game league slate on Dec. 29 in Cape Girardeau.

Eliminated from OVC Tournament
With Thursday's loss at Morehead State, Southeast Missouri was eliminated from the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament. The eighth and final spot will go to either Tennessee Tech or Southern Indiana. Seeding for this year's tournament will be determined following Saturday's action.

Redhawks Fall at Morehead State
The Redhawks lost, 72-50, at Morehead State Thursday night. Southeast Missouri never led in the game and managed to get within six points with 3:06 remaining in the first half. MSU ran its lead back to double figures early in the second half and never led by less than 10 the rest of the way.

Another 20-Point Effort for Martin
Rob Martin scored a game-high 22 points at Morehead State (Feb. 29). Martin shot 9-of-15 from the field and 3-of-4 at the free throw line. He also had four assists and one steal in 29 minutes. It was the third time he scored over 20 points this season. Martin did not start for two games before returning to the lineup Thursday.

Stacker Gets New Season-High 
Braxton Stacker registered a season-high 14 points at Morehead State (Feb. 29). Stacker made 5-of-9 field goals and did not miss a free throw (4-of-4). He finished with four steals and three rebounds, as well.

About Southern Indiana
Southern Indiana is tied for eighth with Tennessee Tech and battles for the final spot in this year's Ohio Valley Conference Tournament Saturday. USI has lost 11 of its last 14 games and dropped a 67-63 decision at home to Lindenwood Thursday. Jeremiah Hernandez and AJ Smith leads the Screaming Eagles in scoring with 17 and 14 points, respectively. USI is 5-9 at home this season.
