CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. - Terrico Garrett and
Taylor Fox both broke their own records at the Arkansas Qualifier while the rest of the team finished with eight first place finishes, nine new personal records, and 39 top ten performances at the Redhawks Open.

Gold Medal Winners
Parker Feuerborn broke the SEMO Rec. Center Record with a mark of 74'8.50" in the men's weight throw to stand alone atop the podium.
Skylar Prescott is wearing the gold medal in the pole vault after vaulting over a height of 11'5.75".
Todjai Ross jumped for first in the women's long jump with a mark of 18'3.75".
Clara Billing ran the 55m hurdles in 8.28 for first and a new personal best.
Serena Williams wins the 55-meter with a time of 7.32 while achieving a new personal best.
Sophie Dubis claimed the top spot in the women's high jump, clearing a height of 5' 2.25".
Micah Grawer achieved a new personal record time of 4:33.04 while placing first in the men's mile.
In the women's mile
Brianna Payton recorded a time of 5:15.92 for first and a new PR.
New Personal Bests
In the women's weight throw
Bailee Hux achieved a new personal record with a mark of 57'7" for fifth.
Kendall Holweg grabbed the silver medal and a new personal best in the women's long jump (17'11").
Megan Aubuchon recorded a time of 8.35 for the silver medal and a new personal record.
Tayler Gudde jumped over a height of 4'10.25" for a new PR (3rd).
The women's mile saw
Kayla Vogelsang place second (5:16.94) and earn a new personal record.
Top Five Performances
In the women's weight throw the Redhawks took three of the top five spots.
Makenzie Williams placed second (60' 6.50"),
Alivia Busch took third (58' 6.75"), and
Piper Klinger placed fourth (57' 8.50").
Nicole Silverlake (2nd) and
Natalie Miner (3rd) cleared heights of 10' 11.75" and 10' 0" in the women's pole vault.
In the men's weight throw
Paden Lewis,
Marshall Swadley, and
Clay Alewelt, threw for marks of  70' 6.50", 63' 8.75", and 59' 11" for second, third, and fourth.
Aarion Jackson takes third in the men's long jump (20'10.75").
Kaitlyn McGinnitey jumped for a distance of 17' 6.75" (3rd) and
Ciara Potter recorded a jump of 17' 2.75" (5th) in the women's long jump.
Alivia Busch notched fourth (45' 3.50") and
Bailee Hux placed fifth (43' 3") in the women's shot put.
With a jump of  4'8.25"
Kendall Holweg takes fourth in the women's high jump.
Clay Alewelt took fifth in the men's shot put with a distance of 53 '8.25".
With times of 4:37.64 and 4:42.51
Byron Sowerby and Jacob BLassingame placed second and third in the men's mile.
In the women's mile
Haley Smith Placed third (5:26.22),
Alayna Sparr placed fourth (5:28.42), and
Mackenzie Pugh placed fifth (5:38.06).
Top Ten Marks
Quinton Maxwell achieved a mark of 51'0" (9th) in the men's weight throw
Tayler Gudde registered a mark of 17' 2.25" in the women's long jump.
In the women's shot put
Makenzie Williams achieved a mark of 38' 3.50" for sixth.
In the men's shot put
Marshall Swadley placed sixth (52' 3.25"),
Quinton Maxwell placed eighth (51' 6.25"), and
Parker Feuerborn placed ninth (51' 4.25").
Arkansas Qualifier Results
Terrico Garret broke his 800-meter school record after he finished with a time of 1:49.81 breaking his previous record of 1:50.11 he set during the 2023 season.
Taylor fox also broke her own school record when she crossed the line at 4:46.33 for seventh in the women's mile breaking the record she set last week.
Looking Ahead
The Redhawks will head to Birmingham Alabama for the Ohio Valley Conference Indoor Championships next Tuesday and Wednesday. The meet will begin at 9:00 a.m both days at the Birmingham Crossplex.
