Tennis Signs Freshman Yontha Tadoum for the Spring Season

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. - Southeast Missouri tennis team has announced the signing of Yontha Tadoum Thursday Morning. Tadoum will join Head Coach Steve Brooks and the Redhawks squad in the spring of 2025. 

Yontha Tadoum lives in Houston, Texas but is also a resident of the Central African country Cameroon.

"Honored to join the Redhawks family and excited to grow, compete, and push my limits both on and off the court. Today marks the start of a new journey at SEMO," Tadoum said about joining the Redhawks.

Tadoum is five feet and ten inches tall and plans to major in one of the IT degrees here at SEMO. Tadoum's highest ITF world ranking has been 595.

Head Coach Steve Brooks had this to say about Yontha joining the program, "We are excited to have Yontha join our team in January. She has a lot of international experience and is a great addition to the team. I believe she will improve a lot!"
