CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. - Southeast Missouri Women's Soccer (0-9-3, 0-3-3 OVC) played to another 0-0 tie Sunday afternoon against Little Rock (7-5-3, 4-0-2 OVC) at Coleman Sports Complex.
The Redhawks played another scoreless defensive game with
Sophia Elfrink registering six saves and Little Rock's keeper, Peyton Urban stopped five shots.
During the contest Little Rock out shot SEMO 11 to seven. The Redhawks put five shots on target while the Trojans notched six on target shots.
Six different Redhawks recorded a shot.
Justi Nelson led the Redhawks with two shots with one being on goal.
At the half both the Redhawks and the Trojans had recorded five shots. Four of SEMO's shots were on target compared to Little Rock's two. Four Redhawks posted a shot on the stat sheet,
Zoe Houston,
Alli Saviano,
Justi Nelson, and
Cayla Koerner. Elfrink registered two saves at halftime.
Jaeda Centeno led the Trojans with three total shots (2 SOGs) while only playing 49 minutes.
Elfrink played all 90 minutes in the net and defenders,
Alayna Jakul, Kristen Anderson, and
Sophie Shrum also played the full game. Shrum also recorded her first shot of the season from the back line.
