CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – Southeast Missouri women's tennis signed North Alabama transfer Juliette Talieu Wednesday.
A native of Paris, France, Talieu played two seasons at UNA going 11-12 in singles play and 8-10 in doubles action over that span.
She played this 2022-23 season at the top of the Lions' singles lineup earning four of her victories in the No. 1 position. Talieu added a 3-2 record between No. 1 and No. 2 doubles, as well.
"Juliette is a great addition to our team," said SEMO Head Coach
Mary Beth Gunn. "She has experience playing at the college level and at the #1 position. She is a strong student and hard worker. Juliette is a great fit for our program and her wealth and experience will help our lineup next year."
Prior to UNA, Talieu spent her freshman year at Sun Belt Conference member South Alabama. There, she saw limited action finishing with a 1-3 singles record and 1-2 doubles mark overall.
Talieu will officially join the Redhawks in the fall.
