OXFORD, Miss. - The Southeast Missouri State Track & Field team concluded day two of the Joe Walker Invite with eight new personal records set. The Redhawks also had ten top-five finishes and 16 top-ten finishes.
Second to None
Freshman
Clara Billing placed first and recorded a new PR in the women's pole vault. Billing cleared a height of 12' 10.25" (3.92m).
PR Galore
Kendall Holweg recorded a new PR in the women's heptathlon long jump 16' 07" (5.05m).
Madelyn Gray finished with a new personal best in the women's 1500-meter. Gray crossed the line at 4:30.28 placing fourth. Gray also placed 10
th in the 800-meter with a time of 2:12.87.
In the women's 100-meter hurdles
Megan Aubuchon finished in 14.81 which was fast enough for a new PR.
Connor Moore finished in 50.40 with a new PR in the men's 400-meter (18
th).
Leanza Dwaah finished with a new personal best with a time of 12.24(25th) in the 100-meter dash.
The men's 800-meter run saw
Noah Little record a new PR crossing the finish line at 1:59.37.
Laila Hardin picked up the silver medal and earned a new personal best in the women's 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:00.40.
Notable Performances
Luke Busateri placed fourth in the men's triple jump 45'01" (13.74m).
The Redhawk pair of
Clay Alewelt and
Dylan Clark placed sixth and tenth in the men's discus throw. Alewelt threw for 169' 03" (51.59m) and Clark got to the distance of 160' 06" (48.92m).
Decathlon and Heptathlon Day 2
In the men's decathlon 110-meter hurdles
Isaac Readnour finished in third with a dash of 16.01.
Jon Bissell finished in fifth place with a time of 16.28.
In the men's decathlon discus throw
Jon Bissell placed second and
Isaac Readnour placed third. Bissell threw for 112' 06" (34.30m) and Readnour 98' 11" (30.16m).
Tayler Gudde placed third with a throw of 33.39m and
Kendall Holweg finished in fifth place with a mark of 31.49m in the women's heptathlon javelin throw.
Jon Bissell and
Isaac Readnour finished in second and sixth in the decathlon pole vault. Bissell got to the height of 13' 3.50" (4.05m) and Readnour 12' 3.50" (3.75m).
Tayler Gudde ran a time of 2:25.37 for sixth place in the women's heptathlon 800-meter!!
In the men's decathlon javelin throws,
Isaac Readnour placed fourth 126' 11" (38.68m) and
Jon Bissell place fifth 124' 01" (37.82m).
In the men's decathlon 1500-meter run
Isaac Readnour finished in fourth (5:10.56) and
Jon Bissell finished in sixth (5:36.04).
Anna Thomason led the women in the Heptathlon finishing in 13th with 4160 total points.
Issac Readnour finished third and
Jon Bissell finished fourth in the decathlon. Readnour ended with 5979 points and Bissell finished with 5861 total points.

The Redhawks will be on the road again next week in Edwardsville, Illinois to compete at the SIUE Invite Saturday, April 15.
