CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. - Southeast Missouri track & field, the 2023 Ohio Valley Conference Indoor and Outdoor Women's Champions and Outdoor Men's Champions announced its 2023-24 schedule.

The Redhawks will host two indoor meets and one outdoor meet this upcoming season.

SEMO will commence its indoor season, Saturday, Dec. 9 at Purdue's Edmonds-Wilt Invitational. Field events will commence at 9:30 a.m., CT followed by running events at 11:15 a.m., CT. The Invitational will be held at the Lambert Fieldhouse in West Lafayette, Indiana.

The Redhawks will compete in eight total indoor regular season meets this season including two home meets at the SEMO Recreation Center. Southeast Missouri will host the Redhawks Invite on Jan. 13 and then the Redhawks Open on Feb. 16 right before the 2023 OVC Indoor Track & Field Championship.

SEMO will also trek to Bellarmine (Jan. 19 , Feb 2), Illinois (Jan. 26-27), and Samford (Feb. 9-10).

The 2024 OVC Indoor Championship will kick off Feb. 21-22 in Birmingham, Alabama, followed by the 2023 NCAA Indoor Championship March 8-9 in Boston, Massachusetts.

Following the indoor season SEMO will compete in nine regular-season outdoor meets, including one home meet.

The Redhawks begin the season March 15-16 at the Richard Martin Invite in Conway, Arkansas. Then the following weekend the Redhawks will compete in the Ole Miss Open March 22-23.

Southeast Missouri will host their annual Joey Haines Invitational home meet March 29-30 at the Abe Stuber Track & Field Complex.

During the Season SEMO will also travel to Tennessee (April 5-6), Louisville (April 12-13), Georgia Tech (April 19-20), and Memphis (April 26-27).

SEMO wraps up the regular season at the Billy Hayes Invite and the Arkansas Twilight May 3.

The 2023 OVC Outdoor Track & Field Championship will then be held May 9-11 on the campus of Eastern Illinois in Charleston, Illinois.

The 2023 NCAA West Preliminary will follow May 22-25 in Fayetteville, Arkansas, with the 2023 NCAA Outdoor Championship June 5-8 in Eugene, Oregon.
