BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Southeast Missouri Track and Field wrap up the regular season Friday with 16 athletes competing in two different meets.
Three distance runners,
Evan Fuller,
Tyler Anderson and
Cole Reinders will be competing in the 800m at the Billy Hayes Invite hosted by Indiana University, while the throwers and pole vaulters will be competing at the Sycamore Open, hosted by Indiana State.
Last Time Out
The Redhawks split and traveled to two different meets. At the Jim Green Invite hosted by the University of Kentucky, Jon David White won the 110m hurdles with a time of 14.16, 0.02 seconds faster than the runner up. The rest of the sprinters joined him at that meet. The rest of the squad went to the Memphis Tiger Invite and notched event wins from
Kale Clements, who captured the women's 800-meter title in 2:18.75, while
Matt Pluff earned a victory in the men's high jump after clearing 7-0.25.
OVC Rankings
The Redhawks are scattered around the OVC charts halfway through the outdoor season. The SEMO women have eight athletes at the top of the charts. Madalyn Gray leads the conference in the 1500m, and
Anna Thomason leads in the 100m hurdles along with the heptathlon. Joining those seniors are
Liberty Blackburn in the high jump,
Andreese Ortiz tops the chart in the discus and shot put while
Alyssa Repke in the hammer.
On the men's side there are six events that the Redhawks currently top the charts.
Cole Reinders leads in the 800m,
Matt Pluff cleared his teammate in the high jump list to leap to the top,
Jake Cannon shares the top of the pole vault list with
Sullivan Gleason, and
Zavier Winton tops the Discus and Hammer throws.
The women's team has nine athletes in the top three of events, while the men's team has 11 other athletes in the top three of events

The teams will travel to Little Rock, Arkansas for the OVC Outdoor Championships starting Thursday and continuing through Saturday.
