Series History
Southeast Missouri leads its all-time series against SIU Edwardsville by a count of 20-12. SEMO has won four of the last seven meetings between these teams. SIUE, however, beat the Redhawks in each of the last three games of the series. The Cougars go for the sweep of SEMO this season after beating the Redhawks, 84-65, in Edwardsville on Jan. 23.

Caldwell Surpasses 500 Points
Guard Alex Caldwell went over 500 points in his career when he scored 14 against UT Martin (Feb. 13). Caldwell, Southeast Missouri's leading scorer with 11.7 points per game this season, tops the Redhawks with 17 double-digit scoring performances in 2019-20. He became the second player on this year's team to hit the career 500-point mark joining Skyler Hogan (537).

Comeback Win
Southeast Missouri picked up its second win in four games with a 74-72 come-from-behind victory over UT Martin (Feb. 13). SEMO overcame a six-point deficit in the final 42 seconds of the game to get the win.

Caldwell Swings Momentum
The Redhawks trailed, 70-64, with 42 seconds left in their recent game against UT Martin when Alex Caldwell banked in a 3-pointer, was fouled and completed a 4-point play to pull Southeast Missouri within two. Fourteen seconds later, Caldwell knocked down another 3-pointer to close UTM's lead to 72-71. He finished with 14 points and scored seven in the last 36 seconds of the contest to propel the Redhawks to victory.

A Look Ahead
Southeast Missouri hosts Eastern Illinois (Feb. 27). SEMO also visits Jacksonville State (Feb. 20), Tennessee Tech (Feb. 22) and UT Martin (Feb. 29) during its final stretch of the season.

Close Games
Southeast Missouri has played seven games this season that were decided by four points or less. The Redhawks are 4-3 in those contests.

Ray Misses Thursday's Game
Southeast Missouri head coach Rick Ray did not coach Thursday's game against UT Martin due to the flu. Ray was diagnosed with the flu earlier in the week. Keith Pickens served as SEMO's acting head coach in Ray's absence.

Hogan Nets Season-Best
Skyler Hogan poured in a season-high 21 points to lead Southeast Missouri against UT Martin (Feb. 13). Hogan shot 7-of-15 from the field and buried four 3-pointers. It was the third 20-point game of his career.

Tolbert Rolls
Forward Sage Tolbert scored 16 points and led Southeast Missouri with nine rebounds against UT Martin (Feb. 13). Tolbert has scored double figures in each of his last four games. He has pulled down eight or more rebounds in nine games this year.

Huge Stop
Freshman DQ Nicholas stole the ball when UT Martin inbounded the ball under Southeast Missouri's basket. Nicholas then passed to Skyler Hogan for a layup to give the Redhawks their first lead of the game at 73-72 with 24 seconds left. Nicholas later split a pair of free throws to put the finishing touches on SEMO's 74-72 victory.
