Redhawks Travel to SIUE
Southeast Missouri (11-15, 6-5) travels to SIU Edwardsville (5-20, 0-11) Thursday. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m., CT, at the Vadalabene Center.

Two-Game Setback
Southeast enters the week on a two-game losing streak after falling, 74-62, on the road at Jacksonville State (Feb. 1) and, 89-81, at home against Morehead State (Feb. 4). The Redhawks concluded the East Division portion of their Ohio Valley Conference schedule with a record of 2-4. Southeast is on a losing streak for the third time this season.
OVC West
The Redhawks are currently a game behind UT Martin and a half-game behind Murray State in the Ohio Valley Conference West Division standings. Southeast hits the road for the final time this regular-season when it heads to SIU Edwardsville (Feb. 9) and Eastern Illinois (Feb. 11) this week. The Redhawks then return to Cape Girardeau to host UT Martin (Feb. 18), Murray State (Feb. 23) and Austin Peay (Feb. 25).
Series History
Southeast holds a 17-9 lead in its all-time series against SIU Edwardsville. SIUE, however, won four of the last six meetings between the teams. The Redhawks are an even 5-5 against the Cougars in Edwardsville. Southeast is looking to beat SIUE in Edwardsville during back-to-back trips for the second time in the series.
Last Time vs. SIUE
The Redhawks overcame a slow start by shooting 61.5 percent in the second half to get by SIU Edwardsville, 79-76, on Jan. 19. Southeast, after not holding a lead in the first half, used a 16-2 run to get ahead of the Cougars and never turned back. SIUE managed to tighten things up in the final 27 seconds, where it went on a 12-1 run.
Eaddy Has Big Week
Freshman guard
Tahj Eaddy averaged 16 points per game in two starts for Southeast last week. A native of West Haven, Connecticut, Eaddy scored 10 points at Jacksonville State (Feb. 1). Two days later, Eaddy pitched in a career-high 22 points on 8-of-12 field goals and a season-high 4-of-6 three-pointers. He shot 54.5 percent (12-of-22) from the field and 6-of-10 (.600) from 3-point range for the week. Eaddy also averaged three assists per game.
20-Point Showing
Tahj Eaddy became the fifth different Southeast player to score 20 or more points in a game this season. Eaddy netted a career-high 22 in his last start against Morehead State (Feb. 4). A Redhawk has scored 20 or more points a total of 16 times this year.
Redhawk Rewind
Southeast went scoreless for the final 2:10 of the game in its 89-81 loss to Morehead State (Feb. 4). MSU made nine of its last 10 shots of the game and rallied behind a stretch of 14-straight points by Miguel Dicent to overpower the Redhawks. The Eagles shot 69.2 percent from the field in the second half alone.
