The Redhawks will follow Tuesday's game with a home game against in-state foe Missouri-St. Louis for a 5:00 p.m. first pitch at Capaha Field for the first meeting between the schools since 1999.

Redhawks Against Southern Illinois
The Salukis hold a 27-42-1 advantage in the all-time series against the Redhawks. SIU defeated Southeast 25-3 on April 9 at Capaha Field. The two teams split their season series in 2012 with each team winning at home.

Redhawks Against UMSL
Southeast Missouri will host UMSL on Wednesday afternoon for the first time since the 1999 season. The Tritons own a 30-28 record in the all-time series. UMSL has won two of three contest against the Redhawks since Southeast has moved to NCAA Division I as the Tritons defeated the Redhawks 12-1 in 1999. Southeast defeated UMSL 13-3 in 1998 and fell 7-6 in 1996.

Offensive Outburst
The Redhawks made history on Saturday scoring 25 runs in 25-6 win over Eastern Illinois. The 25 runs was the most runs scored in an OVC game in school history passing the 23 the Redhawks scored at Morehead State in 2010. The 25 runs is also the third most scored in school history as Redhawks scored 27 against Freed-Hardman in 2007 and 26 last season against IPFW as both games were at Capaha Field. The Redhawks recorded a season-high 22 hits and a season-high 12 walks on Saturday against Eastern Illinois. The Redhawks 22 hits was the most in a game since the Redhawks recorded 24 against the University of North Dakota on March 13, 2011. The 12 walks was also the most in a game since they recorded 14 against Ball State on Feb. 27, 2011.

Going Streaking
Jason Blum extended his hitting streak to 14-games over the weekend. He did not record an official at-bat on Friday to keep the steak in tact as he continued the streak on Friday and Saturday.

Hurts So good
Southeast's Jason Blum set the single season hit-by-pitch record on Saturday as he was plunked twice as he has recorded 19 on the season. He also moved to second all-time at Southeast with 28 in his career. He leads the OVC this season and ranks fifth in NCAA.

Preseason OVC Polls
The Southeast Missouri Baseball team was picked eighth in the Ohio Valley Conference Preseason Poll. Austin Peay, the OVC Co-Regular season and tournament champions in back-to-back seasons were picked to win the league with 14 first place votes. Southeast Missouri junior left fielder Derek Gibson was named Preseason All-OVC after earning First-Team All-OVC last season by the coaches and sports information directors in the OVC.
