Southeast vs. Jacksonville in 2011
Southeast and Jacksonville State met six times in 2011, with the Gamecocks going 4-2 in those matchups. These teams met three times in last year's Ohio Valley Conference Tournament. Southeast used a walk-off home run in a 3-2 victory to force a winner-take-all game which JSU won, 9-5, to secure the OVC Tournament crown and automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament.

Lengthy Homestand
The Redhawks are in the midst of a season-long seven-game homestand. Southeast lost a doubleheader to Eastern Illinois on Apr. 4. After this weekend's series against Jacksonville State, the Redhawks round out their homestand with a doubleheader vs. Middle Tennessee on Apr. 11. Southeast is 4-4 at the Southeast Softball Complex this year.
