Southern University (2023-25): Spent the last three seasons of Division I baseball at Southern University (SWAC)…Pitched in 161.2 innings over three seasons including a career-high 81.1 innings in 2025…He accumulated a 6.85 ERA and struck out 164 opposing hitters…He averaged 14 appearances a season for the Jaguars and also recorded four career complete games on the mound…He was a 2024 second team all-SWAC selection and was a 2024 HBCU Classic All-Star selection. 
 
Alabama Birmingham (2022): Did not see action in his first year of Divison I baseball. 
 
Prep: A native of Madison, Mississippi, Ranard graduated from Madison Central High School in 2021 was listed as the #1 high school player in the country by ‘Baseball America’. 
 
Personal: The son of Regi and Aretha Grace…Ranard intends to major in cybersecurity at Southeast.
