2023: The first season in a Redhawks uniform, Ackerman started 25 games and played in 28 at the catcher position…Had 93 at-bats and finished with a .215 batting average… Recorded 20 hits, six doubles, and a .280 slugging-percentage…Drew four walks and one hit-by-pitch and finished with a .255 on-base percentage…Behind the plate, Ackerman finished with a .992 fielding percentage, recording just two errors and 13 assists.

College of San Mateo: Team Captain and Second-Team All-Conference selection in 2022…Hit .333 with 24 runs scored, 44 hits, nine doubles and 24 RBI in 36 games and 34 starts as a sophomore…As a freshman, also hit over .300 as his team’s third-leading hitter…Hit .317 with 19 hits, three doubles, two triples, a pair of home runs and 10 RBI…Had two stolen bases…Started 15 of his 19 games played.
 
Prep: Attended Chapparal High School in Parker, Colorado…Hit .279 with two runs, 24 hits, six doubles and nine RBI in 28 games as a senior…As a junior, he hit .394 with 26 hits, eight RBI, three doubles and a triple…Boasted a .386 batting average with four doubles as a sophomore.
