Tulane (2025): Began his collegiate career at Tulane University (American) where he made 10 appearances, including two starts, in 2025…He pitched in 12.2 innings and finished with a 1-1 overall record and held his opponents to a .288 batting average…He recorded 16 strikeouts over 69 batters faced and allowed just 16 earned runs. 
 
Prep: A native of Jackson, Mo., John-Paul graduated from Jackson High School in 2024 where he lettered three seasons for the Indians…He recorded three no-hitters in a season which tied for the most in MSHAA History…He also punched out 168 opposing hitters in his career at Jackson…He was a part of the first final four in team history…Was an Academic All-State selection and was an honor roll student. 
 
Personal: The son of John and Sheila Sauer…John-Paul intends to major biology/pre-med…His father, John, attended Central Methodist University where he played both football and baseball.
