Biography

2023: Made a career-high 15 appearances and a career-high three starts in 2023…Finished the season with a 1-2 record over a career-high 30.1 innings pitched…Registered a career-high 41 strikeouts over 139 batters in 2023…Opponents hit just .259 off Rausch and had just 30 hits off of the right-hander…Gave up just 12 walks and 20 earned runs over the season. 

2022: Pitched seven games in relief…Recorded three strikeouts in five innings…Threw one scoreless inning at Indiana State (3/15) and at Tennessee Tech (4/14)…Had one strikeout at Dallas Baptist (2/20), at Tennessee Tech (4/14) and at Missouri (5/3)…Longest outing was one inning in three of his appearances.

2021: Made 12 relief appearances…Combined on one shutout and finished with a 3.38 ERA…Struck out 26 in 16 innings of work…Allowed 11 hits and seven walks…Longest outing was two innings on three occasions…Had four strikeouts at Belmont (4/30) and vs. Murray State (5/29)…Did not allow a run in nine of his appearances…Tossed two innings with a season-high five strikeouts in his Southeast Missouri debut vs. Illinois State (3/6)…Did not give up a walk in eight of his outings.

Prep: Earned First-Team All-Conference honors in multiple seasons…Hit .365 with 19 runs scored, 19 hits, three home runs and 22 RBI as a senior at Valley Park High School…Had a .515 on-base percentage and .615 slugging percentage…Went 4-1 with 68 strikeouts in 30 innings over eight starts on the mound…Finished with a .304 batting average, 22 runs scored, seven doubles, a triple and 26 RBI as a junior…Posted an undefeated 7-0 record with a 0.48 ERA and 98 strikeouts in 44 innings that year.
