Pitched in 14 games and started two…Notched 17 strikeouts in 22 innings Finished the season with a 0-1 record…Struck out two in 3.1 innings during his first career start vs. Southern Illinois (4/25)…Recorded three strikeouts in 3.2 innings at Saint Louis (5/2), his other start of the season…Posted a season-high four strikeouts on two occasions – at Stephen F. Austin (2/17) and at Morehead State (3/9).

2016: Redshirted.

Four-year starter and letterman at Cape Central High School…Pitched and played first and third base…Through his first three years, had a 1.43 ERA with 295 strikeouts and only 78 walks… Finished his senior campaign with a 1.39 ERA in 53 innings with 70 strikeouts and 11 walks…Multiple all-district, all-conference, all-conference tournament and All-Southeast Missouri Team member…Also played four years of basketball, two years of football, and one year of swimming…Was awarded the Jim Allen Award, which goes to the male athlete who best exemplifies the qualities of citizenship…Helped lead Cape Central to district and sectional championships.
