2025: Appeared in 33 games and made 12 starts primarily in center field for the Redhawks in 2025…Recorded 50 at bats and finished the season with a .260 batting average…Finished with 13 hits, seven RBIs, and seven runs scored…Recorded a season-high three hits in a game against Western Illinois (3/28)…Cracked his first collegiate career home run on April 26 at Morehead State for his lone homer of the season…Recorded one home run, a double, and walked seven times…Swiped five bases in 2025. 

Prep: Played baseball for Rogers High School where he started and lettered his final two seasons in the outfield for head coach Matt Melson…He was a first team all-conference selection, a second team all-conference selection, and was named to the all-state tournament team…During his time, Rogers High School won the conference championship three years in a row and was 57-5 over the final two years of his career…Throughout his career, Champion played every position on the diamond except for catcher. 
 
Personal: The son of Corey and Itsy Champion…Caleb was a member of National Honor Society in the classroom…He also played basketball at Rogers High School along with baseball…He intends to major in sport management at Southeast.
