Kirkwood CC (2023-25): Began his first two seasons of collegiate baseball at Kirkwood CC in Cedar Rapids, Iowa…In two seasons, played in 103 games and recorded 354 at-bats and finished with a career .395 batting average…He recorded 140 hits including 21 home runs, 43 doubles, a triple, and drove in 122 total RBIs…He slugged a career .701, including a career best .790 slugging-percentage last season…He was selected as NJCAA Division II National Player of the Year, a first team all-American, a first team all-region selection, and was the ICACC Player of the Year…In 2024, Kirkwood won the regular season conference title…Cal was an all-region academic selection in both years at Kirkwood. 
 
Prep: A native of Ely, Iowa, Cal graduated from Cedar Rapids Prairie High School in 2023 where he lettered for all four seasons. 
 
Personal: The son of Mike and Deb Sullivan, Cal intends to major in finance at Southeast.
