Prep: Lennington was named to the All-Region team at Brentwood Academy in Franklin, Tenn... He hit .318 with eight home runs and 32 runs batted in... He also added 11 doubles and three triples... As a junior, he was named to the All-County Team after hitting .370 with three home runs... He drove in 32 runs that year... As a sophomore he hit .344 with 16 RBIs, one home run, six doubles, and one triple... Lennington excelled as a team member of three Tennessee State Championships, while also holding a 3.6 GPA.
