2019: Led the team in starts (14), strikeouts (77) and innings pitched (76)…Started all 14 of his appearances…Posted a 4-5 record with a 5.33 ERA…Ranked second on the team in wins and ERA…Picked up his first career win in his first NCAA Division I start when he struck out eight and walked only one in 6.2 innings vs. Western Michigan (2/16)…Won in three-straight starts from Mar. 1-Mar. 15 beating Purdue Fort Wayne (3/1), UT Martin (3/8) and SIU Edwardsville (3/15) along the way…Worked seven or more innings in three of his starts…Tossed five scoreless innings with seven strikeouts vs. Purdue Fort Wayne (3/1)…Registered a season-high 11 strikeouts in 5.2 innings at SIU Edwardsville (3/15)…Ranked among OVC leaders in strikeouts (t8th) and fewest walks allowed (t5th, 22)…OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll selection. 
 
Kankakee CC: Was an outfielder, infielder and pitcher for two seasons at Kankakee Community College…Hit .304 with 44 runs scored, 41 hits, six doubles, four triples and 35 RBI in 56 games and 44 starts as a freshman in 2017…Also drew 36 walks and stole five bases…Went 5-2 in nine appearances and one start on the mound…Held a 3.80 ERA with 43 strikeouts in 47.1 innings…Hit .344 in 59 games and 54 starts during the 2018 campaign…Scored 52 runs, added 11 doubles, three triples and 41 RBI…Ranked second on the team with 44 walks…Again, he went 5-2 on the hill…Appeared in eight games and made two starts…Posted a 3.07 ERA and tossed one complete game…Led the team with 48 strikeouts in 44 innings…Won a National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) World Series in 2018…Was named to the NJCAA World Series All-Tournament Team…Earned NJCAA Academic All-American accolades in 2017…Tabbed a NJCAA All-Region first baseman, Region 24 Gold Glove winner and was Kankakee’s Most Valuable Player in 2018…Later played in the Prospect League with the Hannibal Hoots.
