Posted a 4-5 record over 16 appearances and 15 starts… Recorded a 3.90 ERA and 96 strikeouts over 97 innings… Had a season-high 14 strikeouts in 8.0 shutout innings vs. Central Arkansas (3/5)… Threw a complete-game shutout against SIUE (4/2) for his third of four double digit strike out performances… Made the start in the game against Louisiana Tech (6/4) in the NCAA Regional, pitching 2.2 innings, allowing a pair of runs on two hits… Was named one of Louisville Slugger’s National Players of the Week twice and picked up three OVC Pitchers of the Week honors in his first season in a Redhawk uniform… Named Second Team All-OVC… 4.57 strikeout-to-walk ratio ranked 58th nationally… Member of the OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll… Southeast Scholar-Athlete.

Wabash Valley
Played two seasons at Wabash Valley College in Mount Carmel, Illinois… In 2015, he pitched eight games in relief… Finished with a 4-0 record and a 2.17 ERA in 37.1 innings… Fanned 35 hitters and walked nine… Helped lead Wabash to a Great Rivers Athletic Conference and a Region 24 championship and a final No. 8 ranking in the nation… In his freshman season, he recorded a 3.23 ERA and finished with a 4-4 record and four saves in 53 innings of work… Struck out 62 batters while only walking 11… Helped lead Wabash Valley to a Great Rivers Athletic Conference Championship with a 48-13 record.

Prep
Started and lettered all four years at Ballard Memorial High School… Played shortstop and pitched… Was an All-State and Rawlings Central Region honorable mention as a senior… Nominated to the KHSBCA Senior Showcase… Was a three-time Third District All-Tournament Team selection and two-time Region One All-Tournament Team selection… Was nominated for the KHSBCA Sophomore Showcase… Won the baseball defensive award three years and was named Rookie of the Year as a freshman… Helped lead his team to a 2010 Regional Championship and 2011 District Championship… Also was an all-district basketball player… Was the 2013 leading scorer for the region… Holds the school record 3-point shots and more points.
