Played in 29 games and started 14 as designated hitter… Hit .238 with 12 runs scored, four doubles, a triple, two home runs and 12 RBIs… Had three multiple-hit games and four multi-RBI performances… Saw action in one game at the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament… Narrowly missed hitting for the cycle when he went 3-for-6 with two runs scored, a single, double, triple, and five RBIs at Alcorn State (2/22)… Followed that game up with a season-high four hits at Arkansas-Pine Bluff (2/26)… Drew four walks vs. SIUE (4/3)… Southeast Scholar-Athlete. 

Eastern Oklahoma
Played two seasons behind the plate at Eastern Oklahoma… As a sophomore, he hit .338 and slugged .579… Blasted a team-high seven home runs with 12 doubles… Drove in 38 runs with 49 hits… Scored 28 runs… Earned All-Conference honors… Recipient of the Larry Stone Award… Member of the Dean and President’s Honor Rolls. 

Prep
Started three and lettered four years for Charles Page High School in Sand Springs, Oklahoma… Played for head coach Bill Hutson.
