2014: Made 12 starts in 15 appearances in 2014... Finished the season 6-2 with a 3.48 ERA... Started the season 0-2 before winning six-straight decisions... Recorded one save at Belmont (3/9)... Struck out 62 batters and walked only 28... Pitched a total of 75 innings... Went eight complete innings twice: vs. Murray State (5/2) and Eastern Illinois (5/22) in the OVC Tournament... Held opposing hitters to a .215 batting average... Member of the OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll... Southeast Scholar-Athlete. 

2013: Appeared in 19 contests as a true freshman... Started eight games... Finished the season with a 4-4 record and a 6.19 ERA... Saw 56.2 innings of work on the mound... Gave up 63 hits and 40 runs... Struck out 50 batters on the season... Southeast Scholar-Athlete and member of the OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

Prep: First-Team All-State Pitcher and Conference Player of the Year at Crystal City High School… JCC small schools Player of the Year… KJFF Dream Team Player of the Year… As a junior recorded a 7-2 record and a 1.30 ERA with 111 strikeouts in 56 innings with only 12 walks… Won a State Championship in 2010… Also excels in the classroom as a member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Son of John and Kelly Winkelman… Born on February 8, 1994… Majoring in Criminal Justice at Southeast Missouri.
