Missed most of the season due to a broken leg suffered just weeks before the season started... Played in seven games and made four starts at second base... Had nine at-bats in seven games, drawing four walks... Drew three walks in a single game at Indiana State (5/10).

Made 34 starts at shortstop and appeared in a total of 40 games... Hit .261 with 29 hits... Recorded 22 RBI... Hit four doubles, a triple, and a home run...
