Before Southeast: Played at John A. Logan CC in Carterville, Ill…Led his team to a pair of Region 24 Championships as well as a conference Championship in 2012…As a freshman he hit .280 with eight home runs while recording a slugging percentage of .517.

Prep: 2010 graduate of Edwardsville High School…Earned First-Team All-Conference Honors….During his senior campaign he hit .391 with 10 home runs.

Personal: Son of Anthony Mikrut and Gina DeSanto…Born on May 6, 1992…Plans on majoring in business.
