2012: Made 15 appearances with 10 starts in his first season with the Redhawks…Threw 52.1 innings recording an ERA of 7.05 with a record of 2-8…Recorded 26 strikeouts on the season allowing 62 hits…Allowed 46 runs on the season with 41 being earned runs…Recorded his first career win against IPFW on February 26 going four innings allowing a run with six strikeouts…Earned his second career win against UT Martin on April 28 going a career-high seven innings tying a career-high with six strikeouts as he allowed only one run…threw 5.2 shutout innings against Tennessee Tech on April 21 allowing only two hits.


Lewis and Clark CC: Played one season for the Trailblazers…was 3-7 in 11 appearances in 2011…logged 61.2 innings pitched with a 3.64 ERA….recorded 63 strikeouts averaging 1.02 per inning.
 
Grand Rapids CC: Made five appearances throwing seven innings in 2010.
 
Prep: Graduate of Grand Rapids West Catholic high School…earned All-conference, All-Area, All-Region, All-district honors during his senior season…also excelled in football earning All-State honors as a senior and Honorable Mention All-State honors as a junior…excelled in the classroom as a member of the National honor Society.
 
Personal: Son of Steven and Kristen Smith…born on March 24, 1991…major in pre medicine.
