2012: Appeared in 26 games with nine starts during his redshirt freshman season… Made six starts in the outfield and three starts at catcher… Hit .111 in 36 at-bats with four RBI and 12 runs scored… Also added five walks as he recorded an on-base percentage of .238… Recorded a career-high three runs against IPFW on February 26… Recorded a career-high two RBI and scored a run against UALR on March 13.

Prep: Dalton was a three-year starter for Steve Bieser at St. John Vianney.... He hit .415 with 14 doubles, one triple, and two home runs for the Griffins... He garnered All-State Honors, as well as All-State Honors as a quarterback on the football team... He was a three-time Metro Catholic Conference Honoree.Â
