CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – Designated hitter Joe Hall was named to the ACBA/Rawlings South All-Region Second Team Tuesday. 

The teams in all eight regions are voted on by members of the ABCA and the process is led by the ABCA NCAA Division I All-America Committee. 

Hall finished his first season in a Redhawk uniform and led the squad with a .347 batting average, 17 doubles, 67 hits, 134 total bases and 54 RBIs. Hall also totaled a .589 slugging percentage, scored 53 runs and hit 12 home runs.

The committee is chaired by Brian Green of Wichita State University and includes Mitch Canham (Oregon State University), Chris Curry (University of Arkansas at Little Rock), Dean Ehehalt (Monmouth University), Mike Glavine (Northeastern University), Jeff Mercer (Indiana University), Butch Thompson (Auburn University), and Tom Walter (Wake Forest University)
