Nine Southeast Missouri baseball players are competing across seven different collegiate leagues this summer. Five of those individuals return to the Redhawks from last season and four will arrive in Cape Girardeau this fall.

Brice Cox, Healdsburg Prune Packers (Pacific Empire League)
Pitched in three games out of the bullpen…Struck out two in 3.2 innings…Finished with one strikeout in his first two relief appearances vs. the Bay Area Marauders (6/6) and Lone Wolves (6/12).

Alex Menth, Minnesota Mud Puppies (Northwoods League)
Started two games on the mound, both no-decisions…Recorded 10 strikeouts in seven innings during those appearances…Allowed only one run and boasted a 1.29 ERA in that span…Struck out five in four innings, gave up just one hit and walked none in his last start at the Waterloo Bucks (6/14)…Threw three shutout no-hit innings with five strikeouts in his first start of the summer at the Thunder Bay Border Cats (6/3).

Cole Scott, Illinois Valley Pistol Shrimp (Prospect League)
Made one relief appearance working two innings with one strikeout against the Clinton LumberKings (6/23).

Tank Sims, Martinsville Mustangs (Coastal Plains League)
Saw action in 11 games…Hits .200 with seven runs scored, two doubles, four RBI and six walks…Three of his eight hits went for extra bases…Hit safely in each of his first three summer league games.

Joe Terranova, New Market Rebels (Valley League)
Is hitting .219 with 10 runs scored, four doubles, one triple and 10 RBI through 18 games and 16 starts…Walked 12 times and was hit by pitch on five occasions…Had two hits against the Purcellville Cannons (6/7) and Culpeper Cavaliers (6/14)…Recorded a two-RBI single vs. the Covington Lumberjacks (5/31) and Front Royal Cardinals (6/12).

Cooper Callahan, Inside Edge (Kansas City Collegiate Baseball League)
Played two games and has one hit in three at-bats…Finished with a single and walk against Engaged Athletics (6/22).

Jaxson Joggerst, St. Louis Prospects (1st Phorm Collegiate League, formerly CarShield Collegiate League)
Is the younger brother of SEMO infielder Dakota Joggerst…The 1st Phorm Collegiate League consists of seven teams that play 7-inning games throughout the summer…Plays for the St. Louis Prospects…Other teams in the league include the Adidas Athletics, St. Louis Gamers, Inevitable A's, Gators Baseball Academy and Premier Baseball Academy…Is playing only the first half of the summer league season with the Prospects.

Hayden Nazarenus, Cape Catfish (Prospect League)
Has a .357 batting average as the Cape Catfish's fourth-leading hitter…Started 21 games…Ranks second on the team with 24 runs scored, 30 hits and one triple…Leads the Catfish with five home runs, six doubles, 30 RBI and a .631 slugging percentage…Homered and finished with three RBI in his summer league opener at the O'Fallon Hoots (5/26)…Went 3-for-6 with five RBI at the Alton River Dragons (6/3)…Hit two home runs and had five RBI at the Thrillville Thrillbillies (6/16)…Tied for fifth in the Prospect League in home runs, tied for second in RBI and tied for ninth in hits.

Trey O'Neil, Cape Catfish (Prospect League)
Will play the second half of the summer season with the Cape Catfish…Made 13 relief appearances with 27 strikeouts and one save in 20.2 innings for the Catfish in 2025.
