BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – RHP
Andrew Carroll of Southeast Missouri Baseball was named Ohio Valley Conference Co-Pitcher of the Week, the league announced on Monday afternoon.
Carroll (6-1) picked up his sixth win of the season on Friday evening as he tossed a complete game shutout of Lindenwood in an 8-0 Redhawks victory in St. Charles, Mo. He pitched a career-high 9.0 innings and allowed just three hits and no runs.
He matched a season-high five strikeouts and held the Lions to just a .100 batting average against him and did not surrender a walk for the third time this season.
Friday's performance marked Carroll's second complete game of the season and in the Redhawks' two shutout victories in 2026, Carroll was the winning pitcher in both of those games. His sixth victory ranks him first in the Ohio Valley Conference and fifth in the country in wins through 32 games.
This season, Carroll has pitched 41.1 innings in nine appearances while making seven starts in 2026. He has a 4.14 ERA and has allowed just 19 earned runs while punching out 26 opposing hitters.
The award marks the first of Carroll's career at SEMO and he is the first pitcher in 2026 to win the award.
