Women's Soccer Announces 2025 Season Schedule

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – Southeast Missouri Women's Soccer has finalized its 2025 regular season schedule, the program announced on Thursday morning.
The Redhawks schedule features 18 regular season contests, and two exhibitions, in Head Coach John Klein's inaugural season at the helm of SEMO Soccer. The program is coming off a 2024 season with a 3-11-3 overall record and a quarterfinal exit in the 2024 OVC Women's Soccer Tournament.

An exhibition match on Wednesday, August 6, will begin the season at Saint Louis before returning to Cape Girardeau for the opening match of 2025.
SEMO Soccer will play eight regular season home matches at Houck Field including the season-opener against Evansville (Aug. 14) at 6 p.m., CT. The Redhawks feature in four non-conference contests and four Ohio Valley Conference matchups in Cape Girardeau.
The Redhawks will hit the road for back-to-back matches featuring a pair of Missouri Valley Conference foes in Belmont (8/17) and Southern Illinois (8/21).
The following week will feature a pair of home matches as the Redhawks welcome Conference USA member and in-state foe, Missouri State (8/28), followed by a Sunday match with North Alabama (8/31) of the Atlantic Sun Conference.
The non-conference portion of the schedule will wrap up with a pair of matches with Kansas City (9/14) from the Summit League in Cape Girardeau before concluding non-conference play at Big East Conference member, Xavier (9/17).
A nine-match Ohio Valley Conference schedule will begin on the road for the Redhawks with a trip to Lindenwood (9/21) where the first round of the 2024 OVC Tournament took place.
SEMO will return to Cape Girardeau the following week to host Little Rock (9/25) in the first home match of the OVC season before hitting the road once again to Southern Indiana (9/28).
The final six matches of the regular season will feature the Redhawks hosting UT Martin (10/5), Eastern Illinois (10/12), and Tennessee Tech (10/19). SEMO will be on the road at Western Illinois (10/9), at SIUE (10/16), and will conclude the regular season at Morehead State (10/26).
The 2025 Ohio Valley Conference Tournament will feature on four dates beginning on Thursday, October 30. The following rounds will feature on November 2, November 6, concluding with the championship match on Sunday, November 9. The first and quarterfinal rounds will be hosted at the 3-seed from the regular season, with the semifinals and final being held at the regular season champion institution.
