BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – Four Southeast Missouri Baseball players landed on the 2025 Ohio Valley Conference Postseason Award list; the league announced on Tuesday ahead of the conference tournament on Wednesday.

Nathan Mertens, and LHP
Jackson Kranawetter all landed on the All-OVC First Team while LHP
Haden Dow was named to the All-OVC Second Team.
Cole Warehime, Jr., Outfield, Downers Grove, Illinois
The Redhawks' offensive leader,
Cole Warehime finished the regular season near the top of nearly every offensive category in 2025. Warehime led the team in home runs (12), batting average (.313), slugging-percentage (.563), and RBIs (54).
Warehime was second on the team in doubles (12), on-base percentage (.416), and total bases (108) while finishing third in hits (60).
Including every game this season, Warehime finished ninth in the OVC in slugging-percentage, seventh in home runs, and fourth in RBIs. He fielded his right field position at a .949 clip on 99 chances. He recorded 90 putouts, four assists, and registered just five erros all season.
The postseason honor is the first of Warehime's career.
Nathan Mertens, Jr., RHP, La Canada, California

Nathan Mertens landed on the First Team All-OVC list for the first time in his career and makes it three-straight years a Redhawk pitcher has been named to the first team (Noah Niznik, 2023 &
Kyle Miller, 2024).
Mertens finished the regular season with an impressive 7-2 record with a 3.00 ERA overall. In his final start, Mertens punched out six Little Rock Trojans without surrendering a walk over 7.0 innings of one-hit baseball, pushing his strikeout total to 66 on the season.
Mertens led the Ohio Valley Conference and Division I Baseball in walks allowed per nine innings, allowing just 0.92 BB/9. He also was the OVC leader in strikeout-to-walk ratio and ranked third in the country with an 8.25 K/BB mark. He recorded 66 strikeouts on the season to just eight walks in 14 appearances, including 12 starts.
His seven victories ranked him first in the OVC and 63
rd nationally. He was a three-time OVC 'Pitcher of the Week' selection, including the final week of the season.
Jackson Kranawetter, Jr., LHP, Campbell Hill, Illinois
LHP
Jackson Kranawetter finished on the All-OVC First Team list marking the second-straight season a Redhawk relief pitcher has made the first team (Miller, 2024). The Campbell Hill, Illinois-native finished the regular season as the Redhawks ERA leader with a 2.83 mark over a team-leading 23 appearances out of the bullpen.
He finished third on the staff with 56 strikeouts and surrendered just seven walks. He also finished the year as the top saves leader in the OVC, finishing with eight saves on the campaign. His eight saves ranked him 29
thin the country overall for saves.
He ranked fourth in appearances in the OVC (23), ninth in strikeouts (56), second in games finished (15), first in saves (8), and fourth in relief appearances (23).
He recorded one OVC 'Pitcher of the Week' honors this season after recording a pair of saves in the same week (4/8/25).
Haden Dow, Gr., LHP, St. John, New Brunswick, Canada

Haden Dow landed on the All-OVC Second Team for the second time in his career, marking postseason awards for the lefty in two-of-three seasons as a Redhawk ('23 & '25).
Dow has been among the top pitchers in Division I Baseball, finishing the regular season ranked 23
rd in walks allowed per nine innings (1.61) and 37
th in the country in strikeout-to-walk ratio (4.79). Those two numbers rank him second in each category, behind only teammate
Nathan Mertens.
Earlier this season, Dow recorded the only complete game outing for the Redhawks pitching staff with a dominating performance against Purdue Ft. Wayne (3/2/25). Dow punched out a season-high nine Mastodons en route to the victory.
Dow finished fourth in innings pitched in the OVC (78.1), fifth in strikeouts (67), second in shutouts (1) and complete games (1), first in opposing batting average (.211) and first in games started (14).
He was the OVC 'Pitcher of the Week' one time this season (3/4).

#4 Southeast Missouri Baseball will begin the 2025 Ohio Valley Conference Baseball Tournament on Wednesday, May 21. The Redhawks will face the winner of #8 Little Rock and #5 Southern Indiana at 4 p.m. in Marion, Illinois at Mtn. Dew Park.
