Redhawks Throttle Lindenwood with 11-1 Victory Saturday Afternoon

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – Southeast Missouri Baseball (23-17, 10-5 OVC) picked up their 10th win in Ohio Valley Conference play with an 11-1 victory over Lindenwood (18-21, 7-7 OVC) on Saturday afternoon in eight innings from Capaha Field.

The Redhawk offense exploded in Saturday's series finale with five home runs and 16 hits combined over the contest to complete the series victory in a run-rule effort. Right fielder Cole Warehime finished with a pair of home runs, his seventh and eighth of the season to power SEMO past LU.

LHP Haden Dow (4-3) picked up his fourth victory of 2025 with an impressive 7.1 inning outing. Dow punched out seven Lions over 97 total pitches. He allowed just one run on four hits.

Trailing 1-0 after the top of the second inning, right fielder Cole Warehime blasted his first-of-two home runs to left field off LU starting pitcher Eli Brown (2-6).

An RBI single by Ty Stauss in the bottom of the third inning put the Redhawks on top for the first time on Saturday. Bryce Cannon roped his first-of-two doubles in the game to get into scoring position. Stauss singled to right field to make it 2-1 Redhawks after three.

Dow continued to mow the Lions down over the next 3.1 innings as they failed to record any runs after the second inning.

First baseman Bryce Cannon left the yard in the bottom of the fifth inning, sparking a two-run inning for the Redhawks. Cannon blasted his seventh home run of the season to dead center field to make it 3-1 SEMO.

An RBI single by second baseman Carson Schrack with two outs in the frame would make it 4-1 Redhawks heading to the sixth.

A huge seven run inning from SEMO in the eighth, sealed it for the Redhawks. Three, two-run home runs in the inning by Michael Mugan, Cole Warehime, and catcher Liam Forsyth and an RBI double by Stauss powered SEMO past Lindenwood for the victory.
