TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Southeast Missouri track & field ended day one of the Crimson Tide invite with seven top ten marks and four new personal records.
Day two begins with the field events at 10:30 a.m. with the men's javelin and the running events are slated to start at 1:25 p.m., with the 100m hurdles. The last event is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. with the men's 4x400m relay race.
Top Ten Marks
The women's hammer throw saw
Bailie Hux achieve a distance of 163' 8" fo ninth.
Makenzie Williams took 10th with a mark of 163' 10" and sixth with a 160' 11" (PR) distance in the hammer throw and discus.
Clay Alewelt threw a distance of 191' 8" for ninth place in the men's hammer throw and with a distance of 174' 9" he grabbed the silver medal in the discus.
Paden Lewis finished with a distance of 205' 02", taking fourth place in the men's hammer throw.
Andreese Ortiz threw for a new personal best throw of 152' 8" for silver in the discus throw.
Notable Redhawks
Baylee Beard threw for a final distance of 159' 8" (13th) and Ortiz recorded a mark of 131' 11" (24th) in the hammer throw.

Quinton Maxwell placed 22nd in the hammer throw.
During the women's 5000m
Kayla Vogelsang placed 13th (18:00.06),
Cordelia Hoover placed 14th (18:03.45, PR), and
