2025 Outdoor: Threw in eight meets...Finished in the top 10 14 times throughout the season...Started the season in the first four meets finishing in the top 10 in the discus throw in each meet. This included a second place finish at the Crimson Tide Invitational with a throw of 152' 8" along with a fifth place finish at the Pacesetter Sports Invitational...Her season best discus throw came at the Memphis Tiger Invitational where she finished second reaching 161' 5" (49.20m). She also finished fourth in the shot put and 10th in the hammer throw at the meet...Wrapping up her first campaign, Ortiz finished with a fourth place finish in the shot put (43' 5") and the discus (151' 11") along with an eighth place finish in the hammer throw in which she set a new season best mark of 153' 4" (46.73m).

2025 Indoor: Competed in nine meets...Earned 11 top 10 finishes...Ortiz earned her first top three finish with a third place finish in the shot put in her first collegiate meet, the Indiana Early Bird, with a throw of 24'c11.5" (13.09m). She also finished 11th in the weight throw with a mark of 49' 8.25" (15.14m)...Her season best shot put throw came at the Rick McGuire Invitational where she reached 45' 2.25" (13.77m) finishing 11th...Ortiz returned to top 10 finishes at the Don DeNoon Invite with a fourth place finish in the shot put and sixth place finish in the weight throw...At the OVC Championships she earned a pair of top five finishes reaching 42' 2.25" in the shot put and also threw a season best 51' 3.75 (15.64m) weight throw.

Prep: Competed in the shut put, hammer, discus, and weight throw at Heritage high school under head coach Richard McClure...Lettered sophomore through senior year...Threw for personal best marks of 146’4” in the discus throw, 43’5” in the shot put, 38’1” in the weight throw...During her senior year she was the 2024 ivy league, champion for shot put and discus, CIFSS prelims qualifier, CIFSS finals qualifier, CIFSS masters meet qualifier, CIFSS state meet qualifier, and placed ninth in the discus throw at state meet...Notched second place at the Arcadia invite in the discus and fifth place in the shot put...Junior year saw her become the 2023 Ivy League champion for shot put and discus, CIFSS prelims qualifier, CIFSS finals qualifier, and CIF masters meet qualifier...Was the 2022 Sunbelt league champion for shot put and discus, and CIFSS prelims qualifier during her sophomore season...Is the record holder for the shot put and discus at Heritage high school and was awarded the MVP for girls throws 2022,23 and 24...Besides track and field she competed in basketball (sophomore) abd Golf (sophomore – senior)...Also likes to ride quads,  go hunting, and play crochet...Was apart of 4-H club for five years where she showed sheep, goats, horses, pigs, turkeys, chickens, and did knowledge competitions.
