SEMO Baseball Announces 2025 Schedule

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – Southeast Missouri Baseball has finalized the 55-game schedule for the 2025 season, the program announced Tuesday morning. 
 
The Redhawks, who are the defending 2024 Ohio Valley Conference Tournament Champions, enter the eighth season of head coach Andy Sawyers at the helm of SEMO Baseball. The 2025 schedule features 30-games inside the friendly confines of Capaha Field. 
 
Season Tickets
Season tickets for the 2025 SEMO baseball campaign are on sale now. Fans can purchase season tickets online HERE. Cost is $69 per ticket which includes all regular season home games. Groups interested in reserving the Mercy Home Run Deck, Dugout Club, and other group experiences should complete the SEMO Baseball Group Outing interest form, and a representative from the Athletic Ticket Office will contact you.
 
The Schedule
SEMO Baseball will open the 2025 season away from Cape Girardeau in Memphis, Tennessee when they take on American Athletic Conference-member, Memphis on Friday, February 14 through Sunday, February 16. 
 
The first midweek matchup of the season will take place in Clarksville, Tenn. when the Redhawks travel to former OVC rival, Austin Peay, on Wednesday, February 19. 
 
The Redhawks will open the home portion of the schedule with a four-game set against Mid-American Conference opponent, Northern Illinois, on Friday, February 21 through Sunday, February 23. Saturday, February 22, will feature a doubleheader against the Huskies. 
 
A midweek travel day to Arkansas State on Wednesday, February 26, will breakup back-to-back home weekends before Purdue-Fort Wayne visits Capaha Field for another four-game set beginning on Friday, February 28 through Sunday, March 2. Saturday, March 2, will feature the second doubleheader of the season beginning at 12 p.m., CT. against the Mastadons. 
 
Following the weekend series with PFW, the Redhawks will travel to in-state foe Missouri for another midweek matchup on Tuesday, March 4. Last season, SEMO traveled to Columbia, Mo. and defeated the SEC opponent by a final score of 8-3. 
 
Four-straight home games for SEMO will be up next as the Indiana State Scyamores travel to Cape Girardeau for a weekend series beginning on Friday, March 7 through Sunday, March 9. The Redhawks will face off with two-straight Missouri Valley Conference opponents as Evansville will come to Cape Girardeau the following Tuesday, March 11. 
 
The final non-conference matchups ahead of OVC play will take place on the road beginning with a trip to Jacksonville, Alabama to take on former OVC rival Jacksonville State on Friday, March 14 through Sunday, March 16. SEMO will then travel to Middle Tennessee State on Tuesday, March 18 to take on the Conference-USA member. 
 
SEMO will then begin Ohio Valley Conference play on the road in Martin, Tennessee to take on UT Martin beginning on Friday, March 21 through Sunday, March 23. The series will mark the seventh-straight road game before SEMO returns to Cape Girardeau. 
The Redhawks will turnaround after UTM and host Middle Tennessee in Cape Girardeau on Tuesday, March 25 marking the second home midweek matchup of the season. SEMO will open their home OVC slate with Western Illinois on Friday, March 28 through Sunday, March 30. 
 
A return trip to Evansville will be next, beginning a five-game road stretch, on Tuesday, April 1, before heading to SIUE on Friday, April 4 through Sunday, April 6. The Redhawks will then take on regional rival Southern Illinois on Tuesday, April 8 to conclude the road trip. 
 
Eastern Illinois will come to Cape Girardeau to continue OVC play beginning on Friday, April 11 through Sunday, April 12. SEMO will then travel to former OVC rival Murray State on Tuesday, April 15 to take on the Racers in Murray, Ky. 
 
The Redhawks will be in Cape Girardeau on Easter Weekend to take on Lindenwood beginning on Thursday, April 17 through Saturday, April 19 with Sunday being off for holiday observations. 
 
Following the holiday, SEMO will return to action in Cape Girardeau when Southern Illinois makes a return trip on Tuesday, April 22 and will conclude a four-game homestand. 
 
The Redhawks will then trek to Morehead, Kentucky to take on Morehead State over the weekend of Friday, April 25 through Sunday, April 27. SEMO Baseball defeated Morehead State to claim the OVC Championship last May. 
 
A four-game homestand will begin following the trip to Morehead with a Tuesday, April 29 midweek showdown with Murray State at Capaha Field marking the final midweek contest of the season. 
 
The Redhawks will then conclude the season with three-straight OVC series, including two at Capaha Field, beginning with Tennessee Tech (May 2-4). A trip to Southern Indiana (May 9-11) will then be followed by the final regular season series with Little Rock (May 15-17) to wrap-up the regular season schedule. 
 
The 2025 Ohio Valley Conference Baseball Tournament will take place over Wednesday, May 21 through Saturday, May 24 from Mtn. Dew Park in Marion, Illinois where the Redhawks claimed the title in 2024.
