BOCA RATON, Fla. - Southeast Missouri women's soccer (0-6) fell on Sunday night to Florida Atlantic (1-4-2) by a final score of 4-0 from FAU Soccer Stadium.
Sophia Elfrink tied her single game save record with eight saves during the match. Elfrink made those eight saves while facing 20 shots from the Owls.Â
The Redhawks had three shots with two of them being on goal compared to the 12 SOGs by FAU.

Jodi Smith would get the Owls started with a goal in the first half. Smith scored the goal off of her right foot in the bottom middle of the goal in the 12th minute of the contest.Â
The Owls second goal of the match came off of the right foot of Sloane Young into the bottom center of the goal. Young scored her goal off of a pass from Emmy Schleifer.Â
Michelle Horan scored Florida Atlantics third goal of the night in the 61st minute of the game making it 3-0.
Drew Dempsey scored FAU's fourth and last goal of the match. Dempsey's goal came off of her right foot into the bottom right of the goal during the 79th minute.Â
Looking ahead
The Redhawks end their three-game away stint and will be back at Houck Field Sunday, Sept. 22 to open OVC play against Southern Indiana. The game is slated to start at 1:00 p.m., CT.Â
