ST. LOUIS, Mo. — Southeast Missouri lost to Saint Louis 4-0 on Wednesday. The Redhawks put five of their seven shots on goal and recorded eight saves while being held scoreless.

SEMO fell behind 3-0 in the first half as Saint Louis scored in the third minute and added two Adee Broesder goals by 17:04. Madison Geisler made three saves between 34:54 and 38:19 to help the Redhawks get through a late Saint Louis push, and the half ended with Saint Louis ahead 3-0.

Southeast Missouri spent much of the second half defending Saint Louis pressure, with Natalie Allison making five saves before the match ended. Saint Louis added a Nina Preusser goal at 63:08 to make it 4-0. The Redhawks closed with a late push, recording four shots and two corner kicks from 85:30 through 89:41 before falling 4-0.

Saint Louis put the Redhawks behind 1-0 when Audrey Smith scored at 2:17 off an assist from Lucie Schwartz, and SEMO earned a corner kick at 3:40 in their first listed attacking response. Saint Louis recorded shots by Hope Kim and Adee Broesder around a stretch that included four fouls from 6:46 to 11:30, and Broesder scored at 13:00 from Camille Welker and again at 17:04 from Ashley Miller to make it 3-0. Laia Amat Garrido put a Southeast Missouri shot on frame at 21:36, but Pepper Escher made the save, and Saint Louis added corner kicks at 23:51 and 25:29. Madison Geisler made saves on Addison Stanciak, Jeanette Fieldsend, and Caroline Chier between 34:54 and 38:19 before another Chier shot went high at 41:37, leaving Saint Louis ahead 3-0 at halftime.

The Redhawks created an early second-half look when Maria Fernanda Lopez Ibarra put a shot on frame at 49:43, but Saint Louis answered with a run of chances that included Allison saves against Ashley Miller and Hope Kim, an Audrey Smith shot off the right woodwork, and three corner kicks by 58:37. Nina Preusser scored at 63:08 off assists from Ava Scorfina and Jeanette Fieldsend, putting Saint Louis ahead 4-0. Allison stopped Emma Naftanel at 67:45 and Addison Stanciak at 75:51 as Saint Louis continued to generate shots and corner kicks through the middle of the half. SEMO pushed late with shots from Chloe Ouimet, Mathea Konig, Riley Henderson, and Maci Hatzenbuehler around two corner kicks, but Pepper Escher saved three of those attempts as Saint Louis closed out the 4-0 result.
