CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – Southeast Missouri Women's Basketball has announced the final signing for the 2024-25 squad, the program announced on Monday.
Incoming freshman guard, Tristan Spearman, will join head coach Briley Palmer's inaugural roster by way of Memphis, Tennessee.
The daughter of Michael and Tyra Spearman, Tristan graduated from Memphis East High School in 2024 after starting and lettering the past three seasons for coach Ami McNear.
During her senior season, Spearman registered 411 total points and was named as her team's 'Most Valuable Player' in both her junior and senior seasons. She was ranked as the number 36 guard in the class of 2024.
On the AAU circuit, Spearman played for Bluff City for coach Maurice Burton.
In the classroom, Spearman boasted a 4.4 GPA and is interested in studying Kinesiology at Southeast.
