Box Score ST. LOUIS - Southeast Missouri (12-6) cruised to a 4-0 victory over Tennessee State (5-20) Saturday morning in the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament semifinals.

With the win, SEMO advances to face the winner of #2 SIU Edwardsville and #3 Southern Indiana in Sunday's championship. The Redhawks make their fourth-straight appearance in the OVC Tournament final.

The Redhawks extended their winning streak to nine matches and improved to 6-1 at the OVC Tournament since 2021.

In doubles play SEMO's No. 2 pair of Trinity Calinescu and Vivian Lai defeated Franka Sindicic and Louise Ratiu 6-1. Maja Bajorek and Lera Valeeva clinched the doubles point with a win over Perri Howard and Arrieta Castillo, 6-3, at No. 3.

In singles action, OVC Player of the Year Daniela Hlacikova and First-Team All-OVC selection Calinescu rolled through their matches with straight-set wins over Warona Mdlulwa (6-2, 6-2, No. 1) and Sindicic (6-3, 6-1, No. 2).

Valeeva beat Jovana Nikolic 6-0, 6-,3 to secure the match point.

The Redhawks take the court for the OVC Final at 12 p.m., CT Sunday.
