CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - Southeast Missouri Gymnastics concluded the Illinois quad-meet with a 192.700 Sunday afternoon at Huff Hall.
No. 13 ranked Missouri won the meet with a 197.600 followed by Illinois with a 197.275 and Arizona with a 196.875 in third.
Taylor Ingle competed in the all-around, taking home third place with a score of 39.325 for her second highest all-around score of the season.
Senior
Lydia Webb also competed in the all-around picking up sixth place with a final score of 36.750.
Beam
The Redhawks started the quad meet off on the balance beam, posting a 46.575. The routine was led by
Taylor Ingle in spot six, who turned in a score of 9.825.
Anna Speller achieved a score of 9.675 in spot two.
The underclassman duo of sophomore
Anna Chodon and freshman
Jordan Napolitano achieved scores of 9.575 and 9.000 at spots three and four, respectively.
After rotation one SEMO trailed Illinois (49.225), Arizona (49.250), and Missouri (49.250).
Floor
The Redhawks moved onto the floor which was highlighted by
Madison Greene. The Junior notched a meet high score of 9.875, anchoring the floor lineup.
To lead off the rotation, sophomore
Kailyn Hamilton posted a score of 9.775, while
Jordan Napolitano recorded a 9.750.
At the third spot
Sydney Crouch's routine scored a 9.550.
Taylor Ingle continued her great start by posting 9.850. Then
Lydia Webb continued the momentum by reeling off the same score.
The 49.100 floor exercise score was the highest routine score for the Gymhawks today.
Vault
Taylor Ingle led the Redhawks on the vault with another 9.850. Southeast turned in a 49.500 team score during the event.
At spots two and four
Janelle Lopez and
Lydia Webb posted scores of 9.700.
Jordan Napolitano registered a 9.725 for her routine.
Anchoring the event
Madison Greene and
Ailey Kuehn both recorded a 9.775 to tie as the second highest score in the event for SEMO.
The Redhawks had a running score of 144.500 after the third rotation.
Bars
The final event of the afternoon was headlined by
Taylor Ingle again. She posted a 9.800 to lead the Redhawks in the routine.
At spot two Freshman
Ava Johnston made her debut for the meet on the bars. She achieved a 9.675 to tie
Kailyn Hamilton's score.
The all-arounder
Lydia Webb finished the day with a 9.700 score.
Sydney Crouch anchored the event, delivering a 9.300 for SEMO.
Southeast ended their final event with a 48.200 score on the uneven bars.
Looking Ahead
The Redhawks are back in action next Saturday for the Midwest Independent Conference Championships in St. Charles, Mo. Competition is slated to begin at 5 p.m., CT. at Hyland Arena.
