Taylor Ingle Set to Compete at 2026 Lexington Regional Friday
Senior
Taylor Ingle will represent Southeast Missouri Gymnastics in the 2026 NCAA Regionals on Friday, April 3, at 6 p.m., CT. Ingle will compete on the vault at the Lexington Regional on Friday evening from Memorial Coliseum in Lexington, Ky.Â
Â
The Rotation
Ingle will compete in the second session on Friday evening at the Lexington Regional and will compete on the vault with the winner of Central Michigan or Rutgers. She will rotate with the Chippewas or Scarlet Knights in the second rotation of the night.Â
Â
Back Again
The 2026 Regional will mark the second-straight competition for
Taylor Ingle on the national stage. In 2025, Ingle competed in the all-around at the Tuscaloosa Regional where she scored a 38.800 all-around score and finished eighth overall. She recorded a 9.575 on the vault at the Tuscaloosa Regional.Â
Â
Historic
After qualifying for the regionals on the vault,
Taylor Ingle cemented herself into the SEMO Gymnastics record books. Ingle will be just the fourth Gymhawk in program history to compete on the vault at the NCAA Regionals. She joins Stephanie Furman (1999 & 2000) and Brianna Gaddie (2011) as the only Gymhawks to compete on the apparatus.Â
Â
Champion
Last week at the 2026 WCGNIC,
Taylor Ingle captured two titles on the Vault and Beam as she scored a 9.8625 and 9.850, respectively, to be crowned the WCGNIC Individual National Champion on each apparatus.Â
Â
This Season on Vault
Taylor Ingle enters the competition on Friday with a 9.848 National Qualifying Score (NQS) on the vault, the highest on the squad. This season, Ingle has scored a season-high 9.875 coming at the 2026 Midwest Independent Conference Championships (MIC) to win the conference title on vault. She has scored 9.800 or higher 10 different times this season, including capturing the national championship on the vault with a 9.8625 at the WCGNIC Individual Event Finals.Â
